The process of writing the books involves us re-reading to look for errors like spelling and punctuation, even sometimes plot errors – like having a plot.

Here is an example of us proofreading a section from the third book – enjoy, or we’ll rip yer bollocks off!

In this section, Inspector Morose has been waiting outside the coroner’s court to a) play conkers with Max, the pathologist: and b), to speak to the deceased’s widow, who is an ex girlfriend of Morose.
