Or update, if you prefer!

I’ve promised to keep you updated – here goes!
So, since we last spoke…
I’ve continued to proof read – slow process, a lot to be done. A lot of grammar alterations, spellchecking and little bits of rewriting (trying to keep things as original as possible).
Jon Dolan, who designed the cover, has agreed to also supply the spine and back cover for the physical books (for those who don’t do ebooks, they don’t have spines or back covers).
The back cover will be a continuation of the starscape from the front cover, with a picture of Rach and a bit of promotional blurb – ‘44 million miles from the nearest Shell Station’ is a line I’ve picked out of the book that is likely to make the cut.
A little bit of spookiness while reading through it I came across the following piece of Rachelness (and yes, that is now officially a word!): –

Now, I know that Englebert Humperdinck recorded Please Release Me! Apparently Rach didn’t and it slipped through the net at the time.
We finished the book either late ‘96 or early ‘97.
In ‘99 the aforementioned Mr Tom Jones recorded his version of Please Release Me! Who told ya, Rach?
Spooky!
Still to do – complete proof reading, write a brief history of the book and a short post script, collect from Jess and Ben their piece about their Mum and the photo and format the whole lot for the 3 versions.
I’m thinking of doing a launch (maybe at the Oxton Cricket Club again) where there will be readings from the book and a chance to buy direct the physical books, let me know your thoughts on this, please.
Of course I’ll keep you in touch.
Stay safe, stay loved x
Ian
